　　Now，therestofmylifeloomedaheadofme。Sometimesabachelor’sdegreepreparesyouforaspecificoccupationyoutraintobeanaccountant，yougraduateandgetapositioninanaccountingfirm。Often，however，yourstintincollegeonlypreparesyoutomakefurtherdecisionsregardingyourfuture。You’reprettysurewhatyoudon’twanttodo！
　　Duringmysenioryearofcollege，Ihadtoyedwiththeideaofchangingmymajor。Atthatpoint，Ihadfinallydiscoveredwhatcapturedmyheart。But，wantingtofinallybefinishingschoolwasastrongerpull。So，Itookafewcoursesinphysiologyandexercisescience，butnotenoughtoreceiveadegreeinphysicaltherapy。Thatwouldrequireadvancedschooling，beyondmybachelor’sdegreeandIjustwasn’treadytotacklethat。HavingcompletedmyB。C。degree，Ididn’thaveanyintentionsoffurtheringmyeducation。
　　So，IdidthesafethingandgotanofficejobtheverythingIwassurethatIdidn’twanttodo！Idetestedtheofficepolicies，thesuitsIhadtowearandthedowntownenvironmentthatIhadtodrivetoeveryday。IknewthiswasnotwhereIbelonged。
　　Butgodknewwhatpathmycareerwastofollow。Apositionopenedupatthemostexclusivehealthclubinourcity，soIapplied。Thiswasmykindofenvironmentanactive，vibrantkindofplacecompletelyattheoppositeendofthespectrumfromtheofficeenvironmentwhereIfoundmyself。ThepositionrequiredthatIworkSaturdaynightsandSundaymornings。Perfect，Ithought！IcouldkeepmyofficejobMondaythroughFridayandworkatmydreamjobontheweekends。Thisarrangementlastedseveralmonthsuntil，eventually，afulltimepositionopenedupandIwasabletoresignfrommyofficejob。
　　Overthenextfewyears，Iworkedmywayuptheleader，gainingexperienceinseveraldifferentdepartments。Ifoundmynicheasthedirectorofmemberservicescateringtoourclienteleandprovidingthemwithnumerouscuttingedgeprograms。Iwouldhavestayedatthatjobforeveritseemedtobethepinnacleofallmydreamsfulfilled。HerewerefellowemployeeswhohadapassionforthesamethingsthatIdidhealthandfitness。Yetagain，godhadotherplansformylife。Withintwoyears，anewer，bigger，betterandmorestateofthearthealthclubfacilitywasbuiltjustfivemilesdowntheroad。And，inturn，theownerlostmanymemberstothatclub。And，inturn，theownerlostthousandsofdollars。Onebyonewewereeachlaidoff。
